In case you missed my updates on twitter, here’s a little bit of info on what’s been happening with me since I graduated at the start of July.
Earlier this month the BBC took me to T in the Park to be their social media presenter alongside the lovely Kerr from The LaFontaines. We got to do the job that pretty much all TV presenters get to do – we galavanted around the site, interviewed some of the biggest artists at the festival and experienced loads of excellent live music. It was brilliant and I was super chuffed to be involved, especially given that I got to chat to my girl crush, Radio 1 presenter and DJ Annie Mac, as well as the likes of Twin Atlantic, St Vincent, Above and Beyond and many, many more.
If you want to watch any of it back again, head to the BBC T in the park twitter account @bbctinthepark.
All that presenting gave me a bit of a bug to be in front of the camera, not just behind the microphone like I usually am when on the radio. So when my mates set up a new venture, Vox Glasgow, and launched with an excellent first episode (you can watch it here in HD) and asked me to be a presenter, I was more than chuffed. Watch it below and make sure you keep an eye on the M321 Video facebook page to spot most episodes, coming super soon.
If you’re not a fan of me in front of the camera, and liked it when I had a face for the radio instead then luckily I’ll be resuming a weekly radio show – woohoo! – starting from August. I’ll be presenting Pulse 98.4‘s first reggae, dub and dancehall show, every Sunday night from 9-11pm; my first regular venture onto an FM station.
